“For many years now we have been buying Malacara B coffees from Rodrigo and his father Roberto Dumont .Their Cup of Excellence quality coffees have always been superb and they represent some of the best coffees El Salvador has to offer. The Red, Yellow and Orange Bourbon coffees they deliver to us every year have consistently been outstanding...Every year we come to visit and learn more about these and other coffees they have to offer as well as spend some quality time at their farm and home...and we hope to be coming back for many more . This is how we define our family direct trade coffee.”Jeff BabcockCEO, Zoka Coffee USA
“We at Fratello have been working with Chantuc and the Dumont family for four years, in that time we have seen increased quality and commitment to their specialty coffee. I could go on about how good their coffee is but anyone who has tried it doesn’t need me to, instead I want to talk about their commitment to their workers and in larger part their community. It speaks to the character of the Dumont’s family to have programs like their vaccination program for their workers and the yearly toy drive for the children, this is not something they have to do but they chose to because they want their workers to have a higher standard of living. We buy coffee from them not only because it’s delicious but because of the care and commitment to all aspects of their business.”RUSS PREFONTAINECo-Owner, Fratello Coffee Roasters
“We began working with Chantuc and the Dumont family in early 2014. Since that time we have really gotten to know the family, the farms and the many other aspects that make their coffees stand out from the rest. The coffee the Dumonts produce has a very broad appeal amongst our customers and each year when the coffees arrive from Malacara B and Finca Las Mercedes they are met by our customers with a lot of excitement. We have very high standards for the coffees we source and I feel that the coffees from Chantuc demonstrate the very best of what El Salvadoran coffees have to offer. I am very happy we have built such a close relationship with Chantuc and the Dumonts and are able to source outstanding coffees from them year after year.”ZACK BURNETTManaging Partnet, Bold Bean Coffee Roasters
